Rico Puestel
Biography
Already in the year 1999, german DJ and producer Rico Puestel began his active DJing-work at the age of 12. Years before, he developed a deeper interest for different kinds of music, not only through his musical education on the piano. His enthusiasm for electronical music, inspired by artists like "Kraftwerk" and acts of the international dance-scene in the 1990s, had their priority. In his first steps as a discjockey, he could gein a mass of experiences by joining lots of parties and radio-shows in the area of Göttingen. Starting with a more concentrated work as a trance-dj, his musical dj-preferences changed in rhythmical/stronger and minimal/groovy techno. Other styles like House or Broken Beats never stay out of his sets. The steady development and the combination of various styles in his own productions always put a new breath in each track. Today he's facing a very large spectrum of music, not only as a producer - especially as a music consumer. Over the years, a bunch of tracks were created, waiting for beeing released. With Dark Noize Recordings he found the first label to present just a part of them. 2005 was the beginning, much more is following...
